John Mayer's publicity assault conitnues

John Mayer's new album, Battle Studies, is out next week. For those fans that can't get enough, here's the lowdown:

First off, in a nice move, Fuse will be airing a Fuse Presents John Mayer Live From the Beacon Theatre overseas to US troops and their families via the American Forces Network which reaches 175 countries and 140 Navy ships at sea. The performance will air statewide on Nov. 17 at 9 p.m. ET. AFN's Spectrum channel will air the performance on Dec. 6 and on New Year's Eve.

Mayer is scheduled to perform "Who Says" on Letterman on Nov. 19. Then switch over to Letterman's website where he takes over the studio for a concert. He's also slated to sit in with Paul Shaffer & the CBS Orchestra for the episode. In December, you'll see Mayer on Ellen DeGeneres, Jay Leno and Larry King.

Joining Mayer on tour in February will be a personal favorite, Michael Franti.
