Xylos single and dates

Xylos is back in the news. Their forthcoming LP (produced by Britt Myers) will be out sometime in early 2010, and their first single, "Not Enough" is already streaming on the band's MySpace page.

The band also shot a "What's Fresh" segment for MTV/Subway that includes an interview and live perf of the new single.

And they've got a couple more east coast dates this week:

12.15.09 :: TT the Bear's, Cambridge, MA

12.16.09 :: DC9, Washington, DC
12.17.09 :: Kung Fu Necktie, Philadelphia, PA
12.18.09 :: Maxwell's, Hoboken, NJ (without Lissy Trullie)

A few other tidbits for the afternoon:
  • Joe Sib is bringing "Broken Word" to Los Angeles on Jan. 6. It's a one man show done in front of photographs and apparently very thrilling. Jesse Malin will open the show with a special acoustic set.
  • Speaking of Malin, his next album is due in April on SideOneDummy.
  • Bettie Serveert is releasing Pharmacy of Love on March 23; the lead single, "Deny All" is out Jan. 26 on iTunes. - "Deny All" video.
  • Bleeding Through's second In Studio clip is up on MySpace Metal.
  • Rise Records signs Scarlett O'Hara and it sounds like their debut will come out sometime in fall 2010.
