Anthony Jackson goes solo

Anthony Jackson has long been associated with major artists, from his work with the O'Jays to Chaka Khan, Steely Dan, Chick Corea and Quincy Jones, he is considered one of the top bassists in some circles.

On March 15, fans will get a shot to hear what Jackson can do as the frontman, when he releases his first ever solo-record, Interspirit (Abstract Logix).

On the new album, he works with Greek composer/bassist Yiorgos Fakanas, drummer Dave Weckl, guitarist Frank Gambale, keyboardist Mitch Forman and saxaphonist Tony Lakatos.
