lowdown on The Wave Pictures reissue for Moshi Moshi

Last week we gave you the lowdown on Moshi Moshi's first US release from Slow Club. This week, I've the the details on release #2, the double CD from The Wave Pictures with their recent albums Instant Coffee Baby and If You Leave It Alone.

Formed way back in 1998, the band has released (or been a part of) 30 different discs, the most recent being 2009's If You Leave It Alone, which was recorded in just 12 studio hours, creating a freeflow of energy & creation.

For a preview of what to expect this April from the double disc reissue, check out the band's video for "I Love You Like A Madman."

Here's the wrap from my inbox & some twitter hits:
  • Skeletonwitch has a reissue coming out on Prosthetic for their EP Worship The Witch. The EP is available in very short quantities (900 split on 4 different vinyl colors), but preorders are available.
  • Aiden has a new video for "Let The Right One" In coming online today at 3 p.m. CST
  • A Day to Remember has new tour dates with Silverstein and others
  • The Twilight Singers are apparently working on a new album. On Scott Ford's blog, he's looking for ideas for the album title, but says they like their current idea.
  • Paste Magazine has a "Songs For Haiti" campaign going with 200+ artists
  • Charlotte Gainsbourg's new album can be streamed on NPR
