Ready set OK GO's got a big week coming

OK Go has a big week ahead. Apart from releasing Of The Blue Colour of the Sky next week (Capitol), the album will be highlighted on MySpace, giving the full album it's streaming premiere beginning Thursday.

There's also the new video (second from the album) 'This Too Shall Pass" which will debut on YouTube next Tuesday as well as a special performance on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien Friday night. On the new video, The Notre Dame marching band will make an appearance (as they do on much of the new album). Interesting note: The song was recorded at the same time the video was shot.

For more info, check out the band's MySpace page.

and a couple other quick notes before I head out into the snow yet again:
  • ATP 2010 has added Iggy & The Stooges, Coco Rosie, Built To Spill, James Chance and Les Contortions, Thee Oh Sees, Juana Molina, Lightning Dust and Knonono No1 to this year's event curated by Matt Groening of Simpsons fame.
  • ATP Recordings signed Built To Spill and will release the band's music across Europe beginning with There Is No Enemy in February.
  • The Casting Out joins Eyeball Records
