Extreme Thing returns for year 15

I still remember my first sports & music festival, think it was 1997, and while I won't bore you with the details, John Frusciante, 22 Jacks, Weapon of Choice and a bunch of skateboarders. I think it was called Nuttstalk or something to that effect.

Anyway, you're here because you want to know about Extreme Thing 2010. And why shouldn't you?

This year is the 15th year for the festival running in Las Vegas on March 27. The lineup includes The Used, Five Finger Death Punch, Escape the Fate, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Story of the Year, Never Shout Never, Hey Monday, Call the Cops, Every Avenue, The Ready Set, The Summer Set and more.

Plus there's the extreme part: Richard Laguna's pro BMX Dirt Jump competition, Professional Wrestling by Adrenaline Unleashed and what extreme festival in 2010 would be complete without Roller Derby?

What's different this year, as if I'm supposed to know since I don't recall ever hearing about this festival before? THREE live music stages including the newly formed Alternative Press Stage and the XPOZ local band stage.

the can's and can'ts you need to know: "a personal 'unopened' bottle of water" can be brought in along with still cameras and sunscreen. Plenty of food on site along with multiple ATMs. No alcohol will be sold!!! No animals, coolers, weapons or chairs permitted. Want more info go to the link above.
