Lonely Forest are first to ink with Trans Records

Warner's Independent Label Group has partnered with another new label. This time, it's Trans Records, the new label from Death Cab for Cutie's Chris Walla. To honor the new partnership, Trans has signed Anacortes, WA band The Lonely Forest.

The Lonely Forest recently released an album independently, We Sing the Body Electric! and were a featured artist on KEXP's Song of the Day.

They will be recording their Trans debut in April/May with a late summer release.
