More Foxy Shazam glitter

About a week ago, we got you the lowdown on what Foxy Shazam thinks of themselves.

Now we've got release date and tour dates so you can decide for yourselves.

The Cincinatti band worked with John Feldmann to produce the new self-titled album, due on Sire April 13.

In case you missed the Super Bowl last week, where their song "Unstoppable" debuted, here's a video from the band performing live

Now since it was dark, I can't vouch for exactly how real the emotions were during the story, but having children of my own, I believe there was some reality in there. The turning on a dime to start the song depreciates that emotion just slightly, but also makes you think the perf itself will be full of emotion and be engaging. Which I think it was. Based off this video alone, I'm gonna say Foxy Shazam looks like a well rehearsed show in the sense that the band has a unique stage presence but maybe has too much performer in them (a la Jon Spencer Blues Explosion). Regardless, this is probably a band to watch for the rest of the year at least.
