Nils Frahm's work is coming to America

Nils Frahm is a Hamburg composer, who's made a couple of influential piano-led intrumental discs overseas recently.

His debut EP, Wintermusik, and LP, The Bells, are both set to see light of day stateside in the next couple of months on Erased Tapes.

The EP (Feb 16), originally recorded as a three songs for a Christmas present for friends and family. With some encouragement from Peter Broderick, he recorded the full length, due Apr. 27. Both are already out overseas.

You can get a taste of both discs with free downloads.
