Light Pollution debut set for June 15

June 15 marks the release date for Chicago's Light Pollution. The four piece just signed to Carpark Records and will drop their first album, Apparitions this summer.

1. Good Feelings

2. Oh, Ivory!
3. Drunk Kids
4. Fever Dreams
5. Deyci, Right On
6. Bad Vibes
7. All Night Outside
8. Witchcraft
9. Ssslowdreamsss

Upon reading the small write-up in the pr about the band, the most interesting part was hearing how 23 y.o. songwriter James Michael Cicero "wrote the album over the course of a long, stoned, agoraphobic winter spent isolated in a heatless warehouse west of Chicago." Cicero is the son of Italian and Spanish Catholics, as his grandfather was an immigrant trumpet player who tried to start a big band in Chicago many years ago.

Prior to the album's release, you can catch the band playing across the midwest and some northeast shows.
