Transmit Now due in May

Here's another band that came about a couple years ago, got some big ups with Warped & MTV and finally has a record coming out.

The band is Transmit Now, an Orlando power-pop quintet who got their big start on the 08 Warped Tour prior to going out with Anberlin, Mayday Parade, There For Tomorrow, Framing Hanley and The Veer Union.

This young band is now ready to get their music to the masses, as Downtown Merry-Go-Round is set for release on May 25 on Silent Majority Group/ILG (with digital version hitting April 20).

Brett Hestla (Creed, Framing Hanley, Dark New Day) produced and Dan Malsch mixed.

in their words - “We wanted to write songs you love to sing at the top of your lungs on your drive home from work or from school” lead vocalist Andy Brooks says. “It works just as well driving home from the massage parlor or from the candy store or fish market or from the elevator repair shop…any place really!”
