Wakey! Wakey! it's a free song

Mike Grubbs is the brains behind Wakey! Wakey! He's already released two live LPs, a free collection of covers and his War Sweater EP.

He's been playing music since about the time he learned to eat cereal, and has quite a history already -

a totally ‘90s bar gig aimed at pint-slamming college kids; a rock band best described by its beard quotient and Black Crowes nods (Satellite Kid); and two touring musicals (Brigadoon, Camelot). “I’m a tall, skinny straight guy who can sing,” says Grubbs. “That’s basically gold in the musical theater business because there’s none of us.”

Wakey! Wakey! has been doing the club circuit for a couple of years, and Grubbs even landed a track on the season 6 finale of One Tree Hill.

Word is he's working on a new full lenght, but no timetable given for a release date.

oh, now you probably want that free song, it's "Twenty-two"
