Introducing The Frontier Brothers; plus news on Sevendust and The Acacia Strain

Let me introduce you to The Frontier Brothers. Their an Austin band who's just completed work on a new EP, You Should Start A Band.

before I go any further, here's a stream of the title track -

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I can tell you I enjoyed it after nearly hitting stop during the 15 seconds of simple synths that opened the track.

If you like it that much, take a look at the accompanying video.

I don't have a whole lot else to tell you here, but if you're in the NYC area, you've got two chances to see the band in the next 10 days or so.

05/08 Long Island, NY @ Stony Brook University w/ Matt & Kim, Wale

05/14 Brooklyn, NY Blackout Party @ Music Hall of Williamsburg Hosted by FUCT w/ Black Taxi

apparently my new schedule for CD reviews is already out of whack - cuz i'm not sure i'm getting Thee Oh Sees up today, but we'll see -
  • Ultimate-Guitar interview w/ Clint Lowery of Sevendust, where he talks about rejoining the band
  • We Are The In Crowd to release Guaranteed to Disagree EP on June 8
  • Amazon is giving away a free sampler of Peter Bradley Adams for a short time
  • how about the 3rd installment of The Acacia Strain's video blog series
