Thursday nights are becoming Singles Night and this week, Sonic Dissonance goes international, with a new single from Elephants via Alcopop Records.
the song is "Strong Arms" and it's oooooh so catchy.
Well, if the jangly guitars don't get you right away, give it time, they will. I don't know a whole hell of a lot about Elephants, but really what does that matter tonight anyway. This is all about one song. "Strong Arms" is a beautiful indie-pop song and you'd be lying if you told me you didn't find it at least a little bit intoxicating.
The b-side, "I Still Remember" is also quite a track. While it's not quite as catchy as "Strong Arms," it could very easily stand out on its own.
Just in case that's not enough, here's another track for you, this one's a keeper called "For Laika"
btw, if you do like "Strong Arms" and you love the sniff of vinyl, there's only 100 of these available (at least that's what the original number was on Monday) from Alcopop, otherwise your stuck trying to see if Bill Gates has created the scratch and sniff computer screen yet.
hopefully this will tide you over until their new EP comes out in October.
