Selene Vigil Wilk isn't a (7 Year) Bitch anymore

oh, how I've waited and waited and waited.

Selene Vigil Wilk, former lead singer of 7 Year Bitch is back, or at least will be on Sept. 14.

That Was Then is Vigil Wilk's first solo album and first recording since 7YB broke up in the late 90s.

wondering what she's been up to since then? besides marrying Rage Against the Machine drummer Brad Wilk, the couple started up a new beverage company Olade™ which is an organic juice beverage fortified with electrolytes and sweetened with Stevia, a plant in the sunflower family.

Without being too presumptive, I do cautiously wonder how much riot-grrrl is left in Vigil nearly 15 years after 7YB's last recording. Either way, Vigil was a strong writer and I see no reason to think otherwise now.

and if you're wondering, yes I'm interested in trying Olade, but no stores near here carry it -
